Nockout: Tap Away Arrow Puzzle

Tap an arrow and it slides straight off the 3D shape, but only if its path is clear. That's the whole tap away puzzle. Every arrow has one way out. Find the order that frees them all.

Get it wrong and you're stuck with half a board. Get it right and the whole thing falls apart in about four seconds, which never gets old.

IT'S 3D, AND THAT'S THE POINT Arrows wrap around corners and point through faces you can't see yet, so the one blocking you is usually round the back. Spin it, look properly, then start tapping. Think unblock puzzle or sliding block puzzle, except you're solving it in the round.

11 SHAPES You start on a cube. After that you unlock stars, hearts, diamonds, crowns, L and T blocks, staircases. Each 3D shape folds the arrows differently, so a board on the heart plays nothing like a board on the cube.

THREE CONTROLS Tap to fire. Pinch to zoom. Swipe to spin. That's everything. The difficulty lives in the puzzle, not in the buttons.

NO TIMER, NO RUSH Nothing counts down between sessions and nothing nags you. Play one board while the coffee brews, or sit with a hard one for twenty minutes. Both are fine. You get a few wrong moves per board before it resets, so there's room to poke at it. And every board gets checked by the game before it ever reaches you, so a stuck board always has a way through. You just haven't found the thread yet.

WHEN YOU'RE STUCK You earn Hints, Hammers and Previews as you play. Save them for the boards that have earned it.

QUIETLY GOOD FOR YOUR HEAD Every level is a small planning problem. You sequence moves, read space, hold two steps in your head while you test a third. Brain training is a grand name for it. Arrows on a cube is closer.
